Best of the best: Volvo Car Australia’s top retailers
Every year Volvo Car Australia runs the rule over its retail network to find those delivering the very best customer care and experience. Here are the winners.
Determining which Volvo retailers are the very best in Australia is a painstaking challenge. So Volvo Car Australia corrals a panel of expert judges to crunch the numbers to forensically gauge the firms going above and beyond their peers.

It’s truly a team effort – and the awards score retailers not just on sales and service, but for how they create a consistently brilliant experience, both for customers and their employees.
The robust scoring system runs well into five figures, with retailers often notching up in excess of 20,000 points – and it can be as few as ten points that separates the winners from the runners up.
But that work is now done, and the winners and runners up were this month recognised and celebrated in Adelaide.
The 2024 Awards of Excellence recipients are:
● Rural Winner – Volvo Cars Southern Highlands
● Metro winner – Volvo Cars Penrith
● Major Metro winner – Volvo Cars South Yarra (with principal Sue Alford and Austosports CEO, Nick Pagent, pictured)
The runners up are:
● Volvo Cars Townsville
● Volvo Cars Central West
● Volvo Cars Newcastle
● Volvo Cars Adelaide
● Volvo Cars Doncaster
● Volvo Cars Perth

Volvo Car Australia’s retailers are gearing up for an influx of new models to their showrooms this year, with the flagship Volvo EX90 now arriving in Australia, to be followed later this year by the EX30 Cross Country and the new 2025 XC90.
