Volvo strutted its stuff at Melbourne Fashion Week – bringing a distinctive blend of power dressing, pioneering technology, luxury and sustainability to the catwalk.
Visitors to Melbourne Fashion Week this month got a glimpse of this summer’s hottest urban look, where head-turning conscious design meets cutting edge innovation: The all new Volvo EX30.
As M/FW’s official automotive partner, Volvo’s newest arrival provided power dressing that set the scene for Australia’s top designers and models to likewise strut their stuff – making a big impression while leaving a small impact.
The partnership marks Volvo’s first foray into the Australian fashion industry, using the platform to highlight its deep design DNA, sustainability ethos and industry-leading EV credentials, while introducing its smallest-ever SUV to a younger, style-conscious, sustainability-curious crowd.
To mark the partnership, Volvo has collaborated with two Volvo Electric Runway designers to explore what it means to make a big impression while leaving a small impact.
Heads were undeniably turned at the Volvo Electric Runway, giving Melbourne’s image makers and style seekers an Australian-first experience in cutting-edge luxury – a group show featuring Atoir, Chris Ran Lin, Godwin Charli, Par Moi, Romy, Solid Ochre, Third Form, Wa-Ring and Willow.
Exclusive VIP ticket holders viewed the show from inside one of 20 Volvo EX30s lining the runway – taking home plenty of inspiration via effortlessly cool Breeze, Mist, Pine, and Indigo interiors, denim and flex blend deco, wool blend seats, and plenty of other multi-award winning design delights.
