Adjusting the steering wheel
The steering wheel can be adjusted in different positions.
The steering wheel is adjusted in different ways depending on whether or not the car is equipped with knee airbag1.
Warning
Adjust and secure the steering wheel before driving away. The steering wheel must never be adjusted while driving.
Adjusting the steering wheel in a car with a knee airbag
Push the lever forward and down to release the steering wheel.
Adjust the steering wheel to the position that suits you.
Pull the lever back to fix the steering wheel in place. If the lever is stiff, press or raise the steering wheel slightly at the same time as you move the lever back.
Adjusting the steering wheel in a car without a knee airbag
Pull the lever backwards to release the steering wheel.
Adjust the steering wheel to the position that suits you.
Push the lever forwards to secure the steering wheel. If the lever is stiff, press or raise the steering wheel slightly at the same time as you move the lever back.
