Note
If you overspeed on a road with an identified speed limit, the car can warn you of this with a sound alert along with a flashing speed limit symbol in the driver display2. The duration and number of replays of the sound alerts depend on your driving behaviour. The alerts stop once you slow down. You can temporarily deactivate the alerts using the left-hand side steering wheel button3.
Activating adaptive pedal response
You can replace the warning sound with adaptive pedal response in the centre display for all cars except EX30.
When adaptive pedal response is active, you can override it by pressing harder on the accelerator.
Note
Deactivating Intelligent Speed Assist for EX30 and EX90
If you have an EX30 or EX90 car, you can deactivate ISA for the current drive. It will automatically be activated once you start a new drive. You can deactive the feature in the centre display in two ways:
- Press the car symbol > Quick controls > Intelligent Speed Assist.
- Press the car symbol > Driving and deactivate Intelligent Speed Assist.
