Steering wheel symbol extinguishedIndicates deactivated steering assistance. When Pilot Assist provides steering assistance, the steering wheel is lit up.

The system cannot detect whether the driver has his/her hands on the steering wheel. Place your hands on the steering wheel and actively steer the car.

The system warns in different steps coupled with acoustic signals. The hazard warning flashers are activated if the car needs to slow down to a standstill.

Clean in front of the radar unit's detectors.

A text message can be cleared by briefly pressing the P5–1507–Symbol-OK button button, located in the centre of the steering wheel's right-hand keypad.

If a message remains, contact a workshop - an authorised Volvo workshop is recommended.
