Closing and locking boot lid with button*
Important
Closing 1
Note
- The button is active 24 hours after the hatch has been left open. Thereafter, it must be closed manually.
- If the flap has been open for more than 30 minutes, it will close at a slow speed.
Closing and locking2
Note
- One of the car's keys must be within range for locking and unlocking to work.
- When using keyless* locking or closing, three signals will sound if the key is not sufficiently close to the tailgate.
Cancel closing
The boot lid's movement is interrupted and stops. With a further press on the rubberised pressure plate on the boot lid handle, the boot lid will open. If any of the other options are used, it will instead continue to close. The boot lid can also be operated manually.
If the boot lid is stopped close to closed position, the next activation will open the boot lid.
Pinch protection
If something is preventing the boot lid from opening, the pinch protection is activated.
- During opening - movement is interrupted, the boot lid stops and a long acoustic signal sounds.
If the car is moving when the pinch protection is activated, the tailgate stops where it is and the driver is informed by a message on the driver display.
Warning
Pay attention to the risk of crushing when closing.
Check that there is nobody near the boot lid before starting to close it as a crush injury may have severe consequences.
Always operate the boot lid with caution.
