The XC60 Black Edition is an all-black midsize SUV, available in Plug-in hybrid and Mild hybrid versions. It shares the same features and specification options as our XC60 cars and adds exclusive all-black exterior and interior styling.

The XC60 Black Edition brings a dramatic edge to our Scandinavian design style. It adds monochrome elegance to both the interior and exterior, with features including an Onyx Black body, high-gloss grille, exclusive wheels, and a blacked-out Volvo Iron Mark and rear badging for a sleek look uninterrupted by small details.

The XC60 Black Edition Plug-in hybrid combines an electric motor and battery with the gas engine. It can run in all-electric mode, which means everyday journeys can be largely battery powered. For other journeys, running both the electric and gas engines in tandem means better performance, range and fuel efficiency.

The XC60 Black Edition Mild hybrid combines a gas engine and an electric starter generator. The latter is used to start the engine and when braking or slowing, recovering braking energy and storing it in its 48V battery. It then uses the energy to boost the gas engine when accelerating.
