Midsummer, a highly celebrated event in Sweden, is the tradition of welcoming the warmth and long Summer days with friends and family. Volvo Cars is bringing Midsummer to life in true flora fashion with the Volvo Midsummer Celebration.
Join us for a family friendly event with multi-sensory experiences rooted in local flora, sustainability and community, taking place at the Old Port, outside of the Montreal Science Centre. Saturday, June 28th & Sunday, June 29th from 11am - 5pm at 2 rue de la Commune Ouest, Montréal, QC H2Y 4B2, Canada.

Sustainably-Inspired Workshops
Get educated, get inspired and get growing with a series of workshops on all things flora, including making your own dried floral pins, flower crowns, building your own bouquets, face painting, and family Midsummer portraits.
Drive the Future
Experience Volvo first-hand at the Old Port. Take a test drive with one of our Product Specialists to experience the power of sustainable mobility. For each test drive taken Volvo will plant a tree through One Tree Planted.

Energizing our Community
Second-Life Floral
After the event all of the floral used at the Volvo Midsummer Celebration will be either upcycled into mini-bouquets donated within the community or composted to nourish future flowers through Bloem Atelier.
Science on the Road Giveback
Science on the Road delivers programming in remote Indigenous communities, special education settings, and schools serving students with disabilities—driving Volvo vehicles to bring hands-on science where access is otherwise limited – we’re helping to elevate the program and ensure students get access to science education they would not otherwise have.
