SSENSE and Volvo Cars come together to unveil a curated collection of looks inspired by the new fully electric Volvo EX30. This collaboration is a natural fit, as both brands share a commitment to innovation, sustainability and versatile, personal design.
The collaboration, captured by photographer Norman Wong, draws its' inspiration from the EX30's Scandinavian design principles of sleek exteriors, refined interiors and minimalistic design blends. Each look was influenced by one of the five exterior colourways of the EX30.

Recycled. Renewed. Refined.
We’ve crafted four expressive nature-inspired interiors for the EX30. They blend beautifully colour-coordinated upholsteries and décor made from renewable and recycled materials.
Elevated Exterior
Designed to have the smallest carbon footprint of any Volvo car to date, the EX30 uses renewable and recycled materials in new ways. With 5 unique exterior colourways, the EX30 exteriors are both beautiful and sustainable, with around 25% of all aluminum and 17 % of all steel and plastics used in the EX30 exterior materials being recycled.
Ambient Lighting
In Scandinavia, where winter nights can be long and daylight scarce, the interplay of light is vital. Light is woven into the very fabric of Scandinavian life, influencing everything from design aesthetics to well-being. Scandinavia experiences extreme variations in daylight throughout the year. From the ethereal glow of the Midnight Sun during summer to the enchanting dance of the Northern Lights in winter, the changing seasons bring with them a kaleidoscope of natural light.
