Operating the driving lights

Familiarise yourself with operating the lights controls that are available via the left-hand steering wheel stalk.

You can control some primary lighting modes behaviours using the left-hand steering wheel stalk.

You can move the left-hand stalk forwards or backwards to switch between different lighting selections. The stalk always springs back to the neutral position.

The selections available are:

  • Automatic high beam
  • Manual high beam
  • High beam flash

The default lights setting is automatic1.

When the automatic lights mode1 is selected in the centre display, push the stalk twice to switch between the manual high beam and the automatic high beam.
When the passing beam is manually selected in the centre display, push the stalk to turn the manual high beam on or off.
A short pull of the left-hand stalk activates the high beam flash.

The lights settings reset to their default values between drives.

 Important

Make sure that the car cameras are well-maintained and kept clean. If the cameras’ views are obscured by dirt, they will not be able to obtain enough information to properly direct the car’s lighting responses.
