Voice control commands
Voice control enables the driver to voice-activate certain functions in the infotainment system, a Bluetooth®-connected cell phone or in the optional navigation system.
The driver initiates a voice command dialog by pressing the voice control button on the steering wheel keypad.
When a dialog has begun, the most common commands will be displayed on the center console screen.
Once you become familiar with the system, you can speed up the command dialogue by briefly pressing the voice control button to skip prompts from the system.
Commands can be given in several ways
For example, the command for searching for a track on a CD can be given as several short commands or as one command:
- Media search > Track: Say Media search, wait for the system's response and then say Track.
or
- Say Media search track without pausing.
