Locking and unlocking the vehicle using the Volvo On Call app
In the Volvo On Call app, you can view the current lock status and lock and unlock the vehicle remotely.
Locking
Go to the home tab.
Select Doors and Locks.
The vehicle's current lock status is shown.
Select Lock.
The vehicle's doors are locked.
When you lock the vehicle, the anti-theft alarm will be armed. Note that for safety reasons the vehicle can still be opened from the inside.
Unlocking
Go to the home tab.
Select Doors and Locks.
The vehicle's current lock status is shown.
Select Unlock.
Then verify your identity using your phone's unlock method, e.g. PIN code, password, pattern, TouchID or FaceID.
After acknowledgment in the Volvo On Call app, lightly press once on the rubber pressure pad underneath on the tailgate handle to unlock the vehicle.
Now the vehicle's doors can be opened.
Lock status
The vehicle's lock status is shown on the app's start page and in the menu option Doors and Locks. If an incorrect status is shown, go to Doors and Locks and wait 15-20 seconds.
Message
You can receive messages on your cellular phone about the lock status of the vehicle, among other things.
