Viewing the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

All vehicles have a unique identification number, a VIN1. This number is needed when contacting a Volvo retailer regarding Volvo On Call or with other questions.
Tap Settings in the center display's Top view.
Proceed to System → System Information → Vehicle Identification Number.
The vehicle identification number will be displayed.

The VIN can also be found:

  • on the first page of the Warranty and Service Records Information booklet
  • on the vehicle's registration card
  • by looking at the dashboard through the vehicle's windshield.
