Unlocking the tailgate from inside the vehicle

The tailgate can be unlocked from inside the vehicle by pressing the button on the dashboard, to the side of the steering wheel.
P5-1507 Unlock/open tailgate with button from inside (without fuel filler cap-button)
Briefly press the P5-1507 Open tailgate - interior button button on the dashboard.
The tailgate is unlocked and can be opened from the outside.
With the optional power tailgate*:
Press and hold the P5-1507 Open tailgate - interior button button on the dashboard for a few seconds.
The tailgate will open.

 Note

If the power tailgate system* has been working continuously for too long, it will be switched off to help prevent overheating. It can be used again after a few minutes.
