Recycling of batteries

Batteries must be recycled in an environmentally sound manner at the end of their service life.

Consult a workshop if you are uncertain of how to dispose of this type of waste ‒ an authorized Volvo workshop is recommended. 48 V batteries in mild hybrid vehicles1 may only be handled by authorized workshop personnel.
