Distance Alert limitations*

Distance Alert1 functionality may be reduced in certain situations. The function is only available in vehicles that can display information on the windshield with a head-up display*.

 Warning

  • Detection ability may be affected by vehicle size, which may cause the warning light to come on at a shorter time interval than the set interval, or no warning to be given at all.
  • Very high speeds can cause the warning to come on at a shorter time interval than the set time interval due to limitations in the range of the radar unit.

 Note

The function uses the vehicle's camera and radar sensor, which has certain general limitations.
