There is a strap attached near the top of the center rear seat. Pull this strap to fold the rear center armrest down.
The center armrest can provide additional arm support but also contains a hidden cup holder with two slots.
To access the cup holder, push down the top section of the center armrest and release. The sides of the cup holder open up. Gently close both sides again when the cup holder is not in use.
