Procedure to temporarily change the automatic high beam sensitivity

You can set an alternative automatic high beam sensitivity in accordance with FMVSS108 requirements.

 Note

The vehicle must be stationary to change the sensitivity. Keep the brake pedal pressed down throughout the procedure.
Put the vehicle in drive by selecting D with the right-hand steering wheel stalk.
Make sure that automatic lights mode is selected with the rotating ring on the left-hand steering wheel stalk.

The following steps must be completed within 20 seconds:

Select auto high beam with the rotating ring on the left-hand steering wheel stalk.
The rotating ring springs back to automatic lights mode .
Repeat the previous step 20 times.

 Note

The sensitivity returns to the default setting when you start a new drive cycle.
