Engine oil specifications
The prescribed engine oil grade and volume can be read below.
Volvo recommends Castrol Edge Professional engine oil.
See the Service and warranty booklet for information about oil change intervals.
Oil additives must not be used.
Note
This car comes from the factory with synthetic oil.
| Prescribed grade | Fully synthetic engine oil, at least 0W-20 C6 (API SP), must be used. Lower oil grades do not offer the same fuel economy, engine performance and engine protection. Volvo recommends: VCC C6SP SAE 0W-20. |
