Pull the handle on the front of the center seat cushion to release the lock.
The child seat releases with the rear end slightly angled upwards.

Using one hand on the front of the child seat and one on the rear, guide the child seat upwards and back all the way to the backrest of the seat.

Push down on the child seat until you hear a click.
The child seat locks into place.

DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur
- Follow all instructions on this child restraint and in the vehicle's owner's manual.
- Make sure the booster cushion is securely locked before the child is seated.
- Only use for children who weigh 18-36 kg (40-80 lbs) and who are 97-137 cm (38-54 inch) in height.
- Use only the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt system when restraining the child in this booster cushion.
- If a collision occurs while the integrated booster cushion is occupied, the entire booster cushion and seat belt must be replaced. The booster cushion should also be replaced if it is badly worn or damaged in any way. This work should be performed by a trained and qualified Volvo service technician only.
