You need a Volvo ID to log in to your Volvo Cars app. To further protect your account from unauthorized users, two factor authentication will be implemented later this year.
Two factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. In addition to your Volvo ID username and password, you need to enter a code that is sent to you via SMS1 or e-mail.
Note
If you did not receive an email with the code, check your spam folder.
To prepare for the upcoming release, please go to volvoid.eu.volvocars.com/Account and check that you:
- can log in to your account
- have a current phone number1 or e-mail address registered to your account.
Note
Your Volvo ID username is identical to the registered phone number1 or e-mail address.
