After selecting gear B, you can manually shift gears by moving the gear selector to the left or right.

Gear shift indicator
The gear shift indicator in the driver display shows the current gear and tells you when to shift gears by flashing a plus or minus symbol.
To maintain a good fuel economy, it's important to drive in the correct gear and change gears in time.
Important
Manually shifting gears is only available after selecting gear B.
Shifting to a higher gear
Move the gear stalk to the right to shift up a gear.
Shifting to a lower gear
Move the gear stalk to the left to shift down a gear.
Note
Driving too fast or slow relative to your selected gear may cause the car to automatically shift to a higher or lower gear.
