Adjusting front seats
You can adjust the seat in three different ways using the adjustment handles on the side of the seat.

Warning
Never adjust the seat while driving. This can cause dangerous distraction and loss of control. Instead, be sure to make all necessary adjustments to the seat before starting a drive.
Adjusting seat position
Grasp the positioning handle under the front of the seat cushion.
Slide the seat forwards or backwards to your preferred position.
Release the handle.
The seat locks into place.
Adjusting seat height
Push the height handle down to lower the seat or pull the handle up to raise it.
Push or pull repeatedly until you reach your preferred seat height.
Adjusting backrest tilt
Pull and hold the backrest handle to unlock backrest movement.
Lean forwards or backwards in the seat.
The backrest follows your movement.
Release the handle to lock the backrest into place.
Important
Once you've finished adjusting the seat to your liking, it's important to make sure other parts of the car are aligned correctly. Your driving posture is important and is affected by more than your seat adjustments, such as the position of your steering wheel and mirrors.
