Software releases for you car

Software updates for your car are released on a regular basis. Information about the updates are available on the support site, in the car's centre display and in the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app. By updating the software you ensure your car has the latest features and improvements.

This article is applicable to models with Google built-in.

Please note that software updates can't be downloaded over the air in Oman.

Software updates are typically released every 4 weeks and are primarily done over the air (OTA) with all previous updates included. When a new update is available, you get a notification in the centre display and in the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app.
