Changing your Volvo ID username or password

You can change your Volvo ID username or password via the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app or via the Volvo website. To make these changes, you need to know your current login details. If you're having trouble signing in, read Issues related to Volvo ID instead.

This article is applicable to models with Google built-in.

 Note

If you've previously created a Volvo ID linked to a phone number, you won't be able to change that phone number. Instead, you'll have the option to change it to an e-mail address.
The username must be a valid e-mail address to which you have access and must not exceed 60 characters in total. Your Volvo ID is also personal to you, so it's important to not share it or use someone else's contact details as your username.
In the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app, go to > Px-2037-VOC app icon Profile > Manage account > Manage your Volvo ID, or go to volvoid.eu.volvocars.com/Account.
Press Change Volvo ID or Change your password and follow the instructions.

 Note

When you change your Volvo ID username or password, you'll be logged out of your account. To access your account again, log in with your new details.
