Volvo ID is a personal account that is used when you log in to the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app. It consists of a username (phone number1 or e-mail address) and a password.
This article is applicable to models with Google built-in.
You can both create and change your Volvo ID via the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app or via volvoid.eu.volvocars.com/Account.
After you've created a Volvo ID, it's recommended to add an additional contact detail to your account. This will help you recover your Volvo ID when needed. See Adding contact details for Volvo ID account recovery for more information and instructions.

To further protect your Volvo ID from unauthorised users, Two-factor authentication in the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app is available as a security requirement when logging in.
