Locking the boot lid with the button*

The button on the underside of the boot lid locks1 the car after it has been closed manually.

Press the S60/S90-20w17-Locking button tailgate button on the underside of the boot lid.
Close the hatch manually.
The boot lid and the doors are locked2.

 Note

  • One of the car's remote control keys must be within range for locking to work.
  • When using keyless* locking, three signals will sound if the key is not detected sufficiently close to the tailgate.
