Using controls for door mirrors
The door mirror positions are adjusted with the joystick in the driver's door control panel. The car must be in usage mode Comfort or higher.
Folding in rearview mirrors electrically*
The mirrors can be retracted for parking/driving in narrow spaces.
Fold out the mirrors by pressing down the L and R buttons simultaneously. The mirrors automatically stop in the extended position with the previous setting.
Resetting to neutral
Mirrors that have been moved out of position due to external influences, such as being frozen in the retracted position and manually unfolded, must be electrically reset to their original position for the electrical retraction/extension* to work properly.
The mirrors are reset to their original position and electrical retraction and extension works again.
Angling during parking1
A door mirror can be angled down for the driver to view the side of the road when parking, for example.
Note that the button may need to be pressed twice, depending on whether it was already preselected. The button flashes when the door mirror is angled down. When reverse gear is disengaged, the door mirror automatically starts to return after approx. 3 seconds and then reaches its original position after approx. 8 seconds.
Automatic angling during parking1
With this setting, the door mirrors are automatically angled down when reverse gear is selected. The folded position is preset and cannot be adjusted. This is so that the driver can, for example, see the edge of the road while parking.
You can make the door mirrors return to their original positions by pressing the L or R button twice.
Automatic retraction when locking*
The door mirrors are automatically retracted/extended when the car is locked/unlocked using the key.
