Inflating tyre with the puncture repair compressor

Your car's tyres can be inflated with the compressor that is included in the temporary puncture repair kit.

Make sure the compressor's power button is in the off position before starting.

Unscrew the dust cap from the tyre and attach the air hose to the tyre's air valve. Screw the connector as far down the thread as possible.
Attach the hose directly onto the compressor's bottle holder and turn clockwise 90 degrees.
Connect the compressor to the car's 12 V socket and start the car.
Start the compressor by pressing the power button.

 Important

To avoid overheating, do not run the compressor for any longer than 10 minutes at a time.
Check the tyre pressure on the compressor's pressure gauge1. Use the pressure-reducing valve if the pressure is too high.
Turn off the compressor and unplug it from the 12 V socket.
Unscrew the air hose from the tyre.
Refit the tyre valve's dust cap.
Store a new reference value in the tyre pressure monitoring system if needed.

Return the kit to its storage location.

  1. 1The recommended tyre pressure for the car's original tyres can be found on a label on the driver's side door pillar.
