Symbols and messages for AdBlue®
An orange symbol is illuminated in the driver display when a problem needs to be rectified using AdBlue.
The AdBlue system gives a warning in different stages
When the AdBlue level starts to become low, or when service is required, the system gives a warning in different stages. A second symbol illuminates in combination with the orange symbol, see table below.

The symbol remains illuminated until a sufficient amount of AdBlue has been filled. "%1 %2" is replaced by the relevant distance and unit in the driver display. |
| AdBlue dosing No restart after %1 %2 Service required or AdBlue quality No restart after %1 %2 Service required | The system does not function as it should. It will not be possible to start the car after the distance indicated in the driver display. Contact a workshop2 to check the function. Note
- The car must be level for the level gauge to be able to correctly register the amount of AdBlue filled.
- After filling with AdBlue, follow the instructions regarding empty tank and diesel engine when starting the car.
