A birthday at Volvo Cars means celebration, and our own 97th birthday was no exception. For 24 hours, we went all out to put a spotlight on our amazing people and purpose during Volvo Cars Day.
Volvo Cars Day 2024: a celebration of our amazing people and purpose
This year, we focused on safety, which of course is closely connected to our heritage and will always be particularly dear to our hearts.
We also celebrated our achievements, which means we had a lot to celebrate, including launching award-winning new cars and new technologies, and reporting record highs in sales, revenues and profits in 2023.
“It’s important that we take a moment to celebrate all of our employees,” says Jim Rowan, our chief executive. “None of this is possible without all of you – all of the people who came before us, and all of the people who will come after us – and carry our history and traditions forward.”
