EX90 shines in LA: Media praises our new flagship SUV

We recently invited hundreds of automotive journalists to test our all-electric gem on the sun-drenched roads around Los Angeles. And judging by the reviews, they were very impressed.

Journalists and car critics took the new Volvo EX90 for a spin in Los Angeles.

Throughout the years, we’ve had innumerable journalists and car critics joining our media test drives to take newly launched cars for a spin. But it’s probably safe to say that seldom have test drivers had more positive things to say about a car than they did about the EX90 – our new, all-electric SUV.

Over three hot summer weeks in August and September, we hosted a global media test drive southeast of Los Angeles in California. We invited hundreds of journalists from all corners of the world – 36 countries, to be precise – to experience all the desirable traits the EX90 has to offer.

“The EX90 is the best electric family SUV available right now,” stated British Top Gear.

So, what is it about the EX90 that journalists appreciate the most? Well, they certainly like its comfortable and practical interior, state-of-the-art safety features, and advanced technology. And they also seem to appreciate the silent yet powerful ride, as well as the solid sustainability credentials.

As we announced on our 90/90 Day in early September, the EX90 is ready and on the road: the first batch of our flagship SUV is being shipped to our retailers in the United States and Europe right now, and the first lucky customers will get behind the wheels of their new cars before the end of this month.
