Bidirectional prepared

You’ll soon be able to use your bidirectionally prepared Volvo wallbox together with a compatible Volvo (EX90 and future models) to power your home, the grid, or another vehicle helping reduce energy costs and improve efficiency.

Built in energy meter

Accurately track energy consumption and charging efficiency. Calibrated to meet the MID certificate. An “MID meter” is a power meter device that allows you to record the energy consumption of a specific charger in accordance with the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) which is the accepted standard for energy use measurement.

WiFi, Ethernet, SIM prepared

Communicate with cloud services and stay up to date with the latest software. Connects via WiFi, a 4G modem, Ethernet cable or pre-installed SIM card which ensures connectivity for when you lose connection or WiFi is unavailable. Four years of complementary SIM card data included.

1 or 3 AC phase compatible

3-phase allows faster charging and requires a car and installation supporting it. With 1-phase you can get a charging power of 7.4 kW with 32A, while with 3-phase you can get a charging power of 11 kW with 16A and up to 22 kW with 32A.
