You need a Volvo ID to log in to the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app. Create your Volvo ID via the app or via the Volvo website. The instructions for how to create your Volvo ID vary depending on car model and model year, so make sure to read the section that applies to your car.
Cars with Google built-in
The username must be a valid e-mail address to which you have access and must not exceed 60 characters in total. Your Volvo ID is also personal to you, so it's important to not share it or use someone else's contact details as your username.
Note
If you share a car with other people, it's recommended that every user creates their own Volvo ID as they are personal.
A Volvo ID can be linked to up to ten cars, and each car can have up to ten Volvo IDs linked to them.
After you've created a Volvo ID, it's recommended to add an additional contact detail to your account. This will help you recover your Volvo ID when needed. See Adding contact details for Volvo ID account recovery for more information and instructions.
