The seat adjustment knob controls the following adjustments:
  • Side support
  • Lumbar support
  • Seat cushion extension

When you press the seat adjustment knob, the seat adjustment view appears in the centre display to guide you. The different adjustments are shown as separate selections so that you can control them with the same button. To switch between the different adjustment selections, turn the seat adjustment knob and let go. Repeat this until you have selected the adjustment you would like to control.

 Warning

Never adjust the seat while driving. This can cause dangerous distraction and loss of control. Instead, be sure to make all necessary adjustments to the seat before starting a drive.

Adjusting the seat using the adjustment knob

Turn the seat adjustment knob upwards or downwards.
The seat adjustments view appears in the centre display.
Continue to turn the knob repeatedly to cycle through the different adjustment selections.
Select the adjustment you want to make via the centre display.
Adjust the seat using the buttons on the adjustments knob.

 Tip

Use a saved seat position

You can select your saved seat positions for the front seats by pressing the preset seat adjustment buttons. Saved positions for the driver seat can also include adjustments of the wing mirrors.

 Note

Adjustment lock

If you move the adjustment knob in the same direction 10 times within a short time frame, the knob becomes unresponsive for 1 minute. A message also appears in the centre display, telling you the seat adjustment controls have been disabled. This is to prevent unintentional use of the adjustment knob.

Adjusting seat cushion tilt

Tilt the seat cushion control up or down to adjust the seat cushion.

Adjusting seat position

Move the seat position control left or right, up or down to adjust the position of the seat.

Adjusting backrest tilt

Tilt the backrest control in the same direction you want to tilt the backrest.

 Important

Once you've finished adjusting the seat to your liking, it's important to make sure other parts of the car are aligned correctly. Your driving posture is important and is affected by more than your seat adjustments, such as the position of your steering wheel and mirrors.

After adjusting, folding or raising a seat, make sure all parts of the seat are properly locked in place.
