Volvo Car Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 199901007530 (482430-K)) with a registered business address at Lot 01-13A, 13A Floor, Menara Symphony, No. 5, Jalan Prof. Khoo Kay Kim, Seksyen 13, 46200, Petaling Jaya, Selangor (“Volvo Cars”) offers customers the ability to view selected Volvo vehicles through the Volvo Cars Website www.volvocars.com/my (“Website”), configure selected vehicles and to submit an order request to purchase a Volvo car from your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer (“Service”).
By placing an order request via the Website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
To use the Service you must be aged over [18] years.
Order Process The Service permits you to: (i) configure your Volvo car (“Selected Vehicle”) (ii) nominate your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer from where you wish to purchase your Selected Vehicle (iii) opt in to additional options and packages as available in the Website
Only selected Volvo Cars models are available via the Service. The price shown is Volvo Cars’ Recommended Retail Price and includes convenience charging cable, service package, 5-year vehicle warranty, 8-year HV battery warranty and 5-year Road-side assistance. Unless opted in by you, the price shown does not include the cost of (a) car protection and exterior styling packages; (b) Volvo Car Insurance Plus policy or any other comprehensive motor insurance and (c) the vehicle wallbox which will need to be purchased separately.
The vehicle shown in the confirmation order request may differ from the vehicle that you test drive and end up purchasing.
Purchase from your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer Placing an order request does not guarantee you a car, nor does it obligate you to purchase a car. Please also see all the relevant Disclaimers and other Terms and Conditions as shown on the Website. Volvo Cars will share the information of the Selected Vehicle and your contact details with your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer. Once your order request is received, a Volvo Cars representative or your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer will contact you to discuss your Selected Vehicle or an alternative vehicle in the event your preferred vehicle is not available. To buy the Selected Vehicle, or an alternative vehicle, you will need to: 1. visit your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer (subject to COVID-19 public orders and regulations), 2. consult and finalise the price for the Selected Vehicle and all options which you are opting in with your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer; 3. sign a contract of sale with your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer; 4. pay your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer as per their request; 5. sign up to any insurance offer.
Delivery Delivery times varies based on complexity and demand of the Selected Vehicle. Delivery times can vary. Conditions of purchase are subject to Government COVID-19 public orders and regulations, which may result in wait times being extended. your Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer will be able to provide you more up to date advice and discuss delivery options with you, including delivery to your place of residence.
Privacy Volvo Cars collects the personal information you provide on the Website in order to provide the Service, and may, for this purpose, and for the purpose of processing your order request for a Selected Vehicle, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and our Selected Authorised Volvo Dealer. Please refer to our Privacy Policy in the Website. If you have consented to receiving direct marketing communications from us, Volvo Cars may use the information you have provided to send you marketing communications. General Terms By using the Service, you represent and warrant that all information you provide on the Volvo Website is true and accurate. If at any time Volvo Cars discovers that any of the information you have provided is not true or not accurate, Volvo Cars reserves our right to cancel your order request for the Selected Vehicle. Any cost associated with accessing our Website is your responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. To the full extent permitted by law, Volvo Cars excludes all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, including loss of opportunity) which you may suffer or incur in connection with the Service, including but not limited to any technical difficulties or access issues with the Website (whether or not under our control). Volvo Cars reserves the right to cancel the Service or change the offer for any reason and at any time. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of those courts in Malaysia.
