Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric Crowned ‘Best Small Luxury Electric Crossover/SUV’ at CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2023

The eagerly awaited annual CarSifu Editors' Choice Awards made its return this year to honour outstanding vehicles launched in Malaysia from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023 that have made a significant impression on local the motoring scene.

This year, the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric was named the ‘Best Small Luxury Electric Crossover/SUV’ during the award dinner, which is a true testament to its exceptional qualities and features, firmly establishing the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric as a standout choice among the ever-expanding array of electric vehicles in Malaysia. The recent accolade was also the third independent award given to the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric since its launch in December 2022.

As the second locally assembled EV from Volvo Car Malaysia and first Volvo model fully designed to be electric only, the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric offers 450km** of pure electric drive and a DC fast charging rate of up to 150kW***, allowing for a 10% to 80% state of charge in just 28 minutes, providing an ideal combination of everyday practicality and driving pleasure.

During this period, Volvo Car Malaysia is offering an instant cash rebate of up to RM16,000 for customers who purchase either the award-winning Volvo C40 or the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric. The promotion is available until 31 December 2023.
