Settings for locking and unlocking

You can customise how your car reacts when locking or unlocking.

 Note

Different settings affect how and when your car is locked. Make sure to familiarise yourself with the different options and how they affect the locking and unlocking behaviours.

Proximity lock

You can choose whether your car should automatically lock when you approach it and unlock when you're walking away from it with the Proximity lock setting. For this feature to work, you need to carry a recognised distance-capable key.

General locking behaviour

You can customise many of your car's general locking behaviours. For example, you can turn feedback responses on or off and choose whether all of the doors should unlock automatically when you park.

It's also possible to choose which doors unlock when you use the touch points on the driver door handle.

 Note

When the Proximity lock setting is enabled, all of the doors unlock or lock simultaneously when you approach or leave the car with a distance-capable key. Disable the Proximity lock setting if you want to select which doors unlock.
