Tyre pressure monitoring*1

The tyre pressure monitoring system warns with an indicator symbol in the combined instrument panel when the pressure is too low in one or more of the car's tyres.

There are two systems for tyre pressure monitoring, TM (Tyre Monitor) and TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System)2. In the event of uncertainty about which system the car has, open the menu system MY CAR and search for the car's settings:

  • The Tyre monitor menu is used if it is TM.
  • The Tyre pressure menu is used if it is TPMS.

For certain markets the tyre pressure monitoring is standard in accordance with legal requirements. The system does not replace normal tyre maintenance.
