Speed limiter

The speed limiter can help you avoid unintentional speeding. When it's active, the car changes the pedal response when you exceed your set speed limit.

When the speed limiter is active, you can set a speed limit for your own driving. This can help you avoid unintentional speeding. The speed limiter can gradually reduce the response from the accelerator pedal or provide light regenerative braking to maintain your driving speed within your set limit. These two responses help nudge you down to your set speed limit. You can always override the speed limiter by pressing the accelerator pedal down further.

You can also enable the automatic speed limiter in settings. When active, it will adapt the set speed limit to that of the road you're on.

To use the speed limiter, it needs to be enabled in settings. It is then available for activation when you are driving.

When the speed limiter is active, it is indicated in the driver display.

 Important

Driver responsibility

The speed limiter feature is a supplement to safe driving practices. It does not reduce or replace the need for the driver to stay attentive and focused on driving safely. It is the driver's responsibility to observe and maintain a legal and safe speed.

Conditions and limitations

The automatic speed limiter uses road sign information to keep track of the speed limit. If information about the speed limit is unavailable for some reason you can still access the speed limiter but the adaptation to the road's speed limit will be unavailable.
