Using the sun blind*

The sun blinds are built into each of the rear doors, and there is a sun blind built into the rear parcel shelf.

Rear door – electrically operated

Each of the sun blinds can be either fully retracted or fully extended.

The sun blinds are equipped with pinch protection, and in the event of a problem operating the sun blinds, a reset sequence can be tested.

Control for electrically operated sun blind

Controls:	Checks:
Driver's door	Right and left-hand rear doors
Passenger door	None
Left-hand rear door	Left-hand rear door
Right-hand rear door	Right and left-hand rear doors

In order for the power windows and sun blinds to be operated, the ignition position must be in position I or II.

If several of the controls are used at the same time then the function for the control used first is activated. Once the function has finished, the other controls can be used again.

Closing the window and rolling out the sun blind

The window must be fully closed before the sun blind can be rolled out.

Move the control upward and release.

The window runs automatically up to its end position.

Move the control upward a second time and release.

The sun blind runs automatically up to its end position.

Retracting the sun blind and opening the window

The sun blind must be retracted before the window can be opened.

Move the control downward and release.

The sun blind runs automatically down to its end position.

Move the control downward a second time to open the window.

The window lowers automatically to its end position.

Automatic operation - rapid opening/closing

The window and sun blind can be opened/closed simultaneously:

To open – move the control down to the automatic operation position twice and release.

To close – move the control up to the automatic operation position twice and release.

Rear window parcel shelf

There is an electrically operated sun blind built on the rear window shelf.

In order that the sun blind can be operated, the car's electrical system must be in ignition position II.

Note

It may not be possible to operate the sun blind in low temperatures.

Operating with the control in the right-hand rear door

Give a short press on the button - the sun blind is operated automatically to its end position, up or down.
