Cancelling your Extended Warranty Insurance is possible as long as you have not made a claim. Requesting a cancellation can be completed in a few steps.
Conditions for cancelling Extended Warranty Insurance
You can request to cancel if you have not made any claims on your Extended Warranty Insurance (EWI).
- If you decide to cancel before it starts, you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administration fee of the insurance cost (excluding taxes).
- If you decide to cancel after it starts, but before you have made any claims, you will receive a refund based on how much time is remaining on your warranty, minus an administration fee. The administration fee is 10% of the initial insurance cost (excluding taxes).
It's also important to know that the option to cancel your EWI doesn't affect your right of revocation. If you change your mind within 14 days of buying Extended Warranty Insurance and you have not made any claims on it, you can cancel it and get a full refund. How to cancel your Extended Warranty Insurance
If you wish to cancel your EWI, submit a written request to our customer care centre. Remember to include a copy of your Extended Warranty Insurance certificate.
