Performance mode is an upgrade to your Twin Motor. Touch the Performance button on your centre display for a quicker pedal response and increased margins when overtaking.

Increase margins, at the touch of a button

Performance mode is an upgrade to your Twin Motor, increasing its maximum power. When Performance mode has been installed, a new drive mode will appear permanently on your centre display. When you engage Performance mode, your accelerator pedal will respond quicker, and more torque will be distributed to the front wheels. Use this third drive mode to get a faster move from standstill, as well as increase your margins when overtaking. Performance mode is an upgrade to your Twin Motor and should be used responsibly.

What you get with Performance mode

Additional power and acceleration

Performance mode increases the maximum power of the Twin Motor from 300 kW (408 metric hp) to 325 kW (442 metric hp), and provides faster acceleration in all drive modes.

Quicker pedal response

In Performance mode you experience a quicker move from standstill. Getting up to speed on motorway slip roads will be smoother, too.

Your third drive mode

When Performance mode has been installed, a new button will appear on your centre display, alongside Standard and Off-road. Touch it to engage more torque being distributed to the front wheels.

Increased torque distribution

The upgrade gives you a new drive mode, leading to increased torque distribution to the front wheels, for more dynamic driving.
