Settings for locking and unlocking
There are several options for customising locking and unlocking behaviours in different situations when using different key types.
You can adjust how the locks and doors react to your keys using the options available in settings:
- You can unlock the driver door or all doors when the car unlocks.
- All doors unlock when the gear is in P.
- Locking and unlocking feedback responses.
- Proximity lock for distance-capable keys.
- The presence reminder setting allows the car to remind you that there are passengers still in the car when you leave it.
Proximity lock off
When using your digital key, if the proximity lock approach and walk-away locking function is turned off in settings, you need to manually lock the car. You do this by placing your thumb on a specific point on the driver door handle.
