Adjusting the passenger seat

The front passenger seat has a variety of settings to enhance comfort.

Seat adjustment controls

There are different seat adjustment controls that you can use, depending on what you want to adjust. Use the controls beneath your seat to adjust the seat cushion and the position of the seat. To adjust backrest tilt, seat height and the lumbar support, use the controls on the side of your seat.

 Warning

Never adjust the seat while driving. This can cause dangerous distraction and loss of control. Instead, be sure to make all necessary adjustments to the seat before starting a drive.

Extending seat cushion

Pull the seat cushion length control and move the cushion forwards or backwards to adjust the length of the seat cushion.

Adjusting seat position

Move the seat position handle up and slide the seat forwards or backwards to your preferred position.
Release the handle.
The seat locks into place.

Adjusting backrest tilt

Turn the wheel on the backrest to adjust the backrest tilt.

Adjusting seat height

Move the seat height control upwards or downwards to adjust the position of the seat.

Adjusting lumbar support

Press the top or bottom edge of the lumbar support button to move the support up or down.
Press the left or right edge of the button to adjust the depth of the support.

 Important

After adjusting, folding or raising a seat, make sure all parts of the seat are properly locked in place.
