Public charging payments

Payments for Volvo public charging service (VPCS) charging sessions can be managed from the Volvo Cars/Volvo EX30 app.1 The charging costs are automatically debited from your selected payment method on a monthly basis.

 Note

The Volvo EX30 app must be used for EX30 cars. For all other cars, use the Volvo Cars app.

 Note

Be aware that some stations have minute-based pricing. This means you will have to pay by the minute even after your car is fully charged. Please consider this before parking your car for an extended period of time.

You select your preferred payment method when you register your account in the mobile app. You can only have one payment method registered at any given time.

Changing payment method

Go to the Px-2037-VOC app icon Map tab in the mobile app.
Select Account management.
Select Account > Payment information.
Change your payment method.

Viewing charging history

Go to the Px-2037-VOC app icon Map tab in the mobile app.
Select Charge history.

Viewing receipts

Go to the Px-2037-VOC app icon Map tab in the mobile app.
Select Account management.
Select Invoices.

EX30, model year 2024 and later

EX40, model year 2025 and later

EX90, model year 2025 and later

XC40 Recharge Pure Electric, model year 2021-2024
