Yes, it is required for a business to have a valid Fleet Identification Number (FIN). Contact Volvo Fleet at Volfleet@volvocars.com to apply for a FIN.
What are the requirements needed for a business to receive a Fleet Identification Number (FIN) from Volvo?
To be eligible for a FIN code, a business must purchase or lease at least five (5) new vehicles annually (any make or model) or have a minimum of fifteen (15) vehicles (cars and/or trucks) currently registered in the business’ name.
Does a business need to go through a Fleet Management Company (FMC) to buy a Fleet unit from Volvo?
No, a business can contact Volvo Fleet directly and we will arrange to have the Fleet sales transaction flow through a Volvo Retailer.
Can a business purchase a Fleet unit directly out of Dealer Stock?
Yes, it is possible for a business to purchase a Fleet unit directly from a Volvo Dealer’s inventory. Contact Volvo Fleet at Volfleet@volvocars.com for details.
Do Fleet purchases receive the same complimentary offers that retail customers receive?
Yes, Fleet purchases receive Volvo On-Call with Engine Remote Start 4-Year Complimentary Subscription, Volvo Sensus Connect WiFi Hotspot with Complimentary Trial, SiriusXM™ Radio w/ 3-mo. Trial Subscription, 4 year/50,000 new car warranty and 3 year/36,000 Complimentary maintenance Service.
*Volvo recommends that you bring your gas-powered vehicle in for service at least once a year regardless of mileage, or every two years for fully electric vehicles. For Model Year 2026 vehicles with an internal combustion engine, Volvo will cover the recommended services at 1 per year for the first 2 years from warranty start date limited to 1 every 10,000 miles up to the first 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever occurs first. For Model Year 2026 vehicles which are fully electric, Volvo will cover the recommended services at 1 service at 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever occurs first. **At the discretion of Volvo Car USA LLC, applicable software upgrades may be downloaded to your vehicle.
