The EX30 Plus comes with LED headlights, 19-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels, Pilot Assist, Harman Kardon Premium Sound, a power tailgate, frameless auto-dimming side and rear-view mirrors, ambient interior themes, and the full suite of Volvo’s advanced driver assistance systems. The Ultra variants add Park Pilot Assist, a 360° camera, powered front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

The Volvo EX30 has semi-autonomous Pilot Assist functionality that includes adaptive cruise control, automatic distance adjustment when following traffic, a lane-keeping aid, and automatic steering avoidance. It also introduces Park Pilot Assist that can automatically identify parking spaces, manoeuvre and park the car.

As  with every fully electric model from Volvo, the EX30 comes with 5-year complimentary VSP (Volvo Service Plan), digital services, 24-hour roadside assistance, and unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty. For further peace of mind, the high-voltage battery pack has an 8-year warranty.

The Volvo EX30 has rear luggage space of 318 litres with all seats up or 718 litres with the second-row split seats fully folded. Lifting the foldable load floor will reveal 61 litres of rear storage which can be used to hide valuable cargo like laptop bags. Inside the cabin, a centralised design for controls and the innovative Harmon Kardon soundbar enables more storage space in the centre console, armrest, and door pockets.

We recommend charging up to 80% capacity to charge as fast as possible. This helps keep charging times short, as the last 20% takes the longest. By preconditioning the car battery before arriving at a fast-charging station, you can help ensure faster, more efficient charging. This approach means you can charge 10% to 80% at a 175kW DC fast-charging station in as little as 28 minutes. If you need a full charge to reach your destination or the next charging station, use controls on the centre display or the mobile app to hit 100%. Charging times may vary and depend on factors such as outdoor temperature, current battery temperature, charging equipment, battery condition, car condition, etc.

The cost of electricity varies, but the cost to charge a car can be lower than an equivalent petrol or diesel car. Lower running costs is one of several reasons some people switch to fully electric cars.

Fast charging is available at DC fast-charging stations. You can find charging stations on your selected route using Google Maps from the centre display or the Volvo EX30 app. You can also charge at home with a pre-installed wallbox, or even with a three-pin AC charging cable available as an optional accessory.

By tackling emissions across the entire production and lifecycle of the car as well as considerate use of recycled and renewable materials inside and out, the EX30 is designed to have the lowest carbon footprint of any Volvo car to date – less than 30 tonnes over 200,000 km of driving.
